The 24 Hour Workout ad had me curious if that eventually became 24 Hour Fitness. Didn’t find any evidence of it, but then I fell down a 24 Hour Nautilus rabbit hole (THAT’S who became 24 Hour Fitness) and found this commercial – Oh, hi Live 105’s Lori Thompson! (God that commercial has 1996 written all over it)

• OMFG. These are so bad. And they’re making fun of KSFM, which was my station before I found KWOD, hahaha. It reminded me of one I heard ONE TIME in the eeeearly 90s (probably on KSFM) and never forgot it: “Pop Goes To Work” to the tune of Pop Goes The World – my 10/11 year old ass thought it was hysterical.
• Adam Ant – Desperate But Not Serious (I never realized until now how much Adam Ant they played)
• Devo – Whip It (am I crazy or is this slowed down a little?)
• Commercial – McDonalds sold CDs? Haha
• Soul Asylum – Runaway Train (I think my tape is just slow. This doesn’t sound right either)
