A mention of a caller winning tickets to Sunday’s Lollapolooza performance, which fell on August 28, which puts this tape at about the week of August 22-26 1994. Yeah, I’m starting to make a game/challenge out of finding the dates, haha.

Okay we’re bouncing back and forth through time again, haha. Looks like the tape was originally recorded in September ’95 on Live 105, then I recorded over parts of it with Movement in November ’95.
The last three songs were part of What’s The Connection, and the tape ran out before she took any answers! What do those songs have in common? The only connection I can think of at all is Paula Yates but what does she have to do with Frente/New Order? Let’s try and solve a 25 year old mystery! Haha
Continue readingAn entire tape of David X’s mix… it’s pretty housey, pretty clubby. 🙂
Continue readingWith Always being considered new (dating that part to Spring of ’94), and with “Thank You” being given away (dating that bit to the Spring of ’95)… this tape kinda goes back and forth through time. Some of the live club broadcast is from the Acme Dance Club, and some is from The Alphabet Club.
The Shawn & Jeff bit at the beginning has been seared into my mind for over 20 years and I had no idea I had recorded it. But even to this day, the thought of chocolate shakes with extra cheese cross my mind every time I go into a Del Taco.
Continue readingI REALLY wish I didn’t skip through this one when I recorded it, it would have been a good one. Oh well. I don’t think I ever usually recorded Sounds Of Sacramento, I most likely only did here because Ambiance’s host guest-hosted it here. Haha.
A little bit of Ambiance, a little bit of Shawn & Jeff, and a call to a comedy club because I had no friends and liked to listen to recorded messages. ;D
The first side is the week of December 18 1994… The second side is, I believe, October 30 1994. That side REALLY slow and warbly in some places, haha. I used to use and reuse tapes so many times, ugh *shame*
Continue readingUgggghhhh, another tape where I put the two sides together wrong.
Pretty sure this was recorded either 8/25, 9/1, 9/8, 9/15, or 9/22 1995. Yeah, I know that really narrows it down. Heh.
This was recorded on a knock-off Martika tape I got at the Oakland flea market back in like ’89, hahaha.
Continue readingNovember 20 1994 (sleuthing for dates is fun!) This is an odd tape, it’s all just snippets of songs cutting in and out – songs I would think I’d have wanted to record. The majority of the tape is actually just the talking between the songs. I’m not sure why I did that.
The first ten songs were put together by yours truly; I remember making a quick compilation to listen to at school on my walkman. The rest is all Movement, from either August 11 or 19, 1996 🙂
