Late October 1994. I’d be getting Very for Christmas in a few months (and I think Discography either right before or right after thanks to my first BMG membership, haha) so I was still playing my radio recordings at this point.
I was apparently under the impression that I had to love U2’s Where The Streets Have No Name just because PSB covered it, haha.
Watch the volume, it starts terribly low then gets back to normal at 3:33.

I think the majority of this tape was recorded in my car on a day trip to San Francisco with my family. Yeah, I actually brought a whole ass boom box on a family car ride. That probably would have been on a weekend day though, but the Modern Music Minute was a Thursday (August 17 1995). So, I dunno. Haha.

A mention of a caller winning tickets to Sunday’s Lollapolooza performance, which fell on August 28, which puts this tape at about the week of August 22-26 1994. Yeah, I’m starting to make a game/challenge out of finding the dates, haha.
